FUTUREPROOF @
Development programme featuring 10 emerging York artists.
In partnership with York Theatre Royal, the aim is to encourage more people to frequent the theatre, whether it is to watch a show, attend a workshop or simply hangout with friends and family.
The theatre hosted a series of workshops and events around non-creative subjects to target people that normally wouldn't be interested in creative activities.
What you see on stage is not the complete picture.
This project focuses on the struggles felt by creatives artists in their personal lives, that are not seen directly in the craft, and is shown through the female perspective.
It features original text and adaptations from film and theatre as well as original music written for each artist.
